We are currently looking for two PTP psychologists (Psychology in Training) to complete their practical service in an organization where development, collaboration, and the best interests of the child are at the center. We work both individually and in teams. We are at the forefront of developing group therapies for children, adolescents, and parents, offering excellent opportunities to develop competence in modern psychological treatment.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who hold a degree in psychology. Experience with documentation and knowledge of the journal systems Cosmic and VAS are considered an asset. Previous work with children and adolescents with mental health issues, as well as experience within healthcare, is also seen as an advantage.

We place great importance on personal qualities. You demonstrate maturity and good judgment in your way of working. You have good collaborative skills, are attentive, and possess a well-developed ability to empathize when meeting patients, relatives, and colleagues.

What you will be working with

The duties include assessing treatment needs and providing individual treatment interventions for children and adolescents. You will participate in and conduct group therapies for children, adolescents, and parents. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other professions within the team and involves cooperation with schools, social services, and other healthcare actors. During your PTP year, you will receive continuous supervision from a licensed psychologist and have the opportunity to participate in the organization's training and development work. You will also be offered the opportunity to conduct two neuropsychiatric assessments as part of your practical service.

Information about the position

We offer a fixed-term PTP position on a full-time basis from September 1, 2026, to September 1, 2027. Working hours are during the day, Monday–Friday.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
